We woke up again to a sunny, but chilly morning. There were really verdant, rolling hills near the shore in front of a large mountain range. Fortified with coffees and some blankets we watched the scenery as the ship cruised up the sound toward College Fjord.

Ice floes began appearing as we got closer to the fjord. The ship kept to the channel and then turned near the top of the fjord so that both the port and starboard sides would see both shorelines, which contain numerous glaciers reaching down to the water.

This was our last full day on the cruise. We’re packing up to transfer to a train to Anchorage tomorrow morning to begin the land portion of the tour. Time for one night of fine dining and a show.
