We shuttled this morning from Fish Creek to Brussels WI and commenced our final tour ride back to Green Bay. The weather was much cooler than it has been and the route was much flatter. Just what you’re looking for on that final day when everyone’s butts and legs are tired!
The route started with some miles that were just for the beauty of the area riding through farmland and along the shore. It was a tad less scenic as we turned towards Green Bay but still pleasant riding. Jeannie hopped on the shuttle for the final 10 miles but Tom rode the full 37 mile distance.
We cleaned up and had some lunch at Lodge Kohler and then got on the road for a night in Appleton. Let’s just say that the quality of our accomodations has declined rather drastically but it’s all we need to sort out the luggage and get ourselves organized for the next part of the trip.
