Le nez! Le Plage! Le Croissant!

Forgot to mention that we took a run at navigating a pharmacy in French yesterday and were not terribly successful. Tom has a cold and ended up with some coug drops and an herbal remedy. The herbal remedies seem to be featured quite prominently with the hard core pharmacuticals behind the counter. Tom took another run at it today and managed to get some useful drugs (pretty much) and provide great entertainment for the pharmacy staff and patrons! His le nez is better.

Had a great breakfast this morning of scrambled eggs and croissants. I will so miss our boulangier. Why can’t we get the $1 amazing fresh from the oven baguette at home? Au revoir le baguette and le croissant!

Then le plage. We packed the chairs this time and went to Plage Clugny which was wonderful. Big waves and strong current but the water was warm and the mangroves provided great shade. Really enjoyed it although I’m still not a fan of having that sand all over you

Packing now for trip home. Stepping off that plane will be real hard!
